Currently posted as Principal Secretary to Governor, Punjab. Rich and diverse experience of 25 years of public administration in the Indian Administrative Service. In the past 5 years he has served as Secretary, Sports & Youth Affairs, Secretary Local Government and CEO of Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company, spearheading the Urban Development Sector in Punjab. Has been a key resource person at the national level in the transition and development of new paradigms in urban development programs like Smart Cities, Swachh Bharat Mission etc.

Had previously served in the State Government of Tamil Nadu in the urban development and livelihood sector, between 2001 to 2006

Continues with a long association with Isha Foundation, Coimbatore, founded by the visionary Spiritual Master Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, having been CEO of the Foundation between 2009 to 2012. Continues to contribute in the Foundation’s core work in cultivating human potential through the systems of Yoga and with its large scale, volunteer-run, impactful and cutting edge social projects in school education, wholistic health care and environment protection.

Likes to contribute in any initiative that aims to bring back the relevance of core Indian values, including yoga, which are universal in nature.
